the move
yes, i am finally permanently here in PA, well sort of anyway (more about that later...).
friday was the last day of work ( did i talk about the former bosses lunch on thursday, susan organized and it was great...) they had the obligatory good bye party for me at work, complete with hello kitty cake !!! awesome.
dana and jason so graciously rode their bikes down to MD to help me move (They were awesome, i could not have asked for better helpers/ coordinators). all went well, we were out of the apartment by 1, so that was great. danielle came over and said goodbye and i put her to work on some cleaning (thanks!!). made it back to PA in good time, even my dad who was driving the truck did a good job on the time (as did jason and dana on their bikes). relaxed for about a second, got cleaned up and went to dinner with natasha, dana, jason h and jason butter, good times. i was pretty beat so i headed out early to get home and sleep. dana came back out on sunday to help us unload the truck into storage. really, i cannot say enough about how helpful he was.
today i had a few work related things to do, don't seem like they are going to work out, but we'll see i guess. also hung out with natasha for a bit, she is getting ready for some big changes too. she'll do great.
going to LA tomorrow to visit with michele, my last proper vacation for quite a while i feel.... oh well. anyway....
all is well here, hope everyone is doing well. i swear i will post better blog things while i am away!!
