lazy day

i chose to do very little work today, instead since i got out of work early, i checked a few things out at the carnegie museum. first, i remembered that there were a few more inflatables behind the main entrance, so i checked those out first. i know i keep wavering, but i think "pittsburgh is the zombie capital of the world" is my fav. really. yes, it is. it's in a weird place so getting a photo is tricky business. while inside i checked out:
fierce friends (i guess i should have guessed that many of the animal pieces would depict dead animals, i was not expecting the taxidermy birds, the swan, super disturbing....)

teenie harris cont. dug this, especially the photo of eartha kitt busting through a paper sign that said "now appearing: earth kitt" crazy! look here, scroll down to earth kitt.

barns this was cool, especially the giant barn stars from somerset county.

i have been hanging out at the clp since this afternoon, working a bit, relaxing a bit. of course as soon as i headed outside, with the computer to blog it started raining, back inside now and of course it isn't raining.

anyway.... i got called off work for half the week next week, i am not complaing at all, i am ready for a break especially with the end of the semester so close (two weeks, sucka!!!)
